Ascension Outreach works with families and schools to help children achieve full potential in life by providing educational financial support to children and empowerment program to adult e.g. small medium business interest free loan and grant.
Our mission is to help children get out of poverty with better education, good mindset and orientation for future and to help unemployed people with small business setup.
Success Story
About
Two sponsored children from Abeokuta, Ogun State. Bose (Mary) and Anu were selected from low grade public primary school to attend private school, they failed the entrance exam for the new school and were advised to repeat their classes primary (year) 5 and 4 respectively. Ascension provided them with vitamins, books and extra lessons and both of them finished primary school with excellent result as detailed below.
First meet up
Ascension first met Bose aka Mary and Anu in April 2019
after then we proceeded with scholarship arrangement for September new session 2019/2020 and provided vitamin, school shoe, bags, books and stationaries.

Ascension Service Fund
Ascension provided fund for small medium business, second hand Taxi was purchased from fund and given to Bose's father to drive with low weekly deposit paid back into Ascension fund pot and the rest of the profit goes to the family to feed and take care of other children because their condition was really bad with no source of income.
A year after first meet up
The children looked healthier and performing brilliantly at school.
Anu had straight As in all subject for the last two terms in year 5.
Excellent grade in 18 subjects 2nd and 3rd term in year 5 and then went straight to secondary school after passing the entrance exam.
Ascension provided clothes, shoes and vitamins as part of scholarship for Anu and Bose. Care package are based on case by case basis and family background.
